This is a very early prototype intended to validate the core concept. Please leave a comment or join my discord to tell me what you think.
How To Play:
Some cards create projectiles, some cards modify projectiles, and some cards do both. When you put a card on the board, you'll see a preview of your projectiles. Cards on the board resolve in order from left to right, not simultaneously. When you end your turn, your projectiles launch toward the enemy you selected and damage them. Some enemies have abilities that can interfere with your attack (such as redirecting projectiles) which you must account for.
If you happen to have cards that are not useful in your current situation, you may place them on the space with the 'X' to sacrifice them. This creates a projectile which gains 5 damage for each card sacrificed. At the end of the turn, sacrificed cards are removed from your deck until the end of the current combat.
Controls:
- Left click cards in your hand to put them on the board.
- Click and drag to reorder cards on the board.
- Right click cards on the board to return them to your hand.
- Click an enemy to target it.
- Click GO to end your turn and launch your attack.
Why don't enemies fight back?
Why is there no health bar?
Why is there a turn countdown timer?
It's a prototype.
Maintaining a health resource across multiple encounters is a core element of the roguelike genre, and I do intend to implement these mechanics if I continue development. It's just a lot of work to implement these things. We'll get there. I just want to know if this game is worth making first.

Thanks for the feedback! I went back and fixed the link in the thread, thanks for pointing that out. It is a lot of reading, though it's tough to design cards that are both versatile and simple. That's just a challenge I'll have to keep working on. I appreciate "wiki-pilled." Your video showed me some things that should be explained more. I'll definitely make a way to zoom in more, thanks for the suggestion.
